Bahrain 2012

 

1:1 studio divided into two main parts; a minimal display area & an "under construction" design space.

​

A freestanding partition separating both areas with an opening that replaces the reception, framing the designers behind and drawing attention to the contrasting design space.

​

1:1's logo recessed at the bottom corner like a drawings scale marking the configuration.

​

The industrial design area appears to be unfinished,

to represent the work-in-progress during the design process, (before completion).

​

The library shelves break the wall of the display area emphasizing the movement from design to finished product.

reclaimed old doors and windows inspiring our designs
