Outdoor stage design

Bahrain 2013

 

The stage was inspired by Alwan 338 concept "common ground".

​

It is broke down into small cubes that are similar in colour but vary in size, to collectively form "the stage" which holds within itself the steps, the stage, the furniture, the backdrop and screen. 

​

The stage is meant to be interactive, so can be rearranged to accommodate different sets depending on music genres, size of band, performance routine,...

​

The design rebels on the traditional form of a stage,and tries to redefine the space according to body movements and use.

​
